2000
saw the addition of a
major new area of the
Guido Evangelistic
Association... the
Patrick Print Plant,
named in honor of the
contributor of the gift
that made it possible:
C.W. "Pat"
Patrick.
All
of the printing of the
devotionals, sermons and
other items sent out to
over 26,000 subscribers
on a monthly basis is
done on site at the
ministry. With the
addition in 1999 of
several new pieces of
equipment (all in answer
to prayer), and the
ever-growing mailing
list, space was at a
premium in the original
print room.
So,
in 1999 Dr. Guido and
staff began praying for a
new print building. Their
prayers were answered
through a couple that Dr.
Guido had led to the Lord
some years ago, the
Patricks. During a recent
visit to the studios, Mr.
Patrick inquired about
the needs of the
ministry. Upon hearing of
Dr. Guido's desire to
build a new print
facility, he felt led of
the Lord to present the
Association with the
amount needed. (Read
his testimony.)
Construction
began on the building in
the spring of 2000, and
was completed in the
fall. The move was made
into it during October
and it became fully
operational that same
month. A special
dedication service was
held on November 4th with
the Patricks, the
staff
and the board
members
in attendance.
