When I am Glad...
And he shall be like a tree planted by
the rivers of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its
season; its leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he
doeth shall prosper. - Psalm
1:3
For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands; happy shalt
thou be, and it shall be well with thee. - Psalm 128:2
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to test you, as though some strange thing
happened unto you, But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are
partakers of Christ's sufferings, that, when his glory
shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding
joy. - 1 Peter 4:12-13
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to
sing praises unto thy name, O Most High; To show forth
thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness
every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon
the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For
thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work; I will
triumph in the works of thy hands. - Psalm
92:1-4
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve
the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with
singing. - Psalm 100:1-2
