DENNIS SWANBERG TO
PERFORM
by Jerri Goodman
| The Christmas season brings out the
child in everyone. So what better time
could there be to bring a special holiday
gift of laughter to Guido Gardens? Amid
the excitement of the holidays this year,
visitors to the Gardens can enjoy the
side-splitting comedy of
nationally-renowned comedian Dennis
Swanberg, Americas Minister
of Encouragement. |
 |
Known as The Swan,
Mr. Swanberg relies on his special gift of
impersonation to amuse audiences of all ages. He
will entertain audiences from near and far in the
warehouse of Guido Evangelistic Association
during performances on Dec. 27 and 28. The shows
will begin at 7 p.m. and are at no charge for the
audience.
Described by The Sower, Dr. Michael Guido as
the greatest encourager and the best
Christian comedian in the nation, Mr.
Swanberg is the host of a weekly cable network
variety show, Swans Place, on
ACTS/FamNet and SkyAngel Networks and The
Dennis Swanberg Show, televised nationwide
on the TBN cable channel weekly.
Mr. Swanberg takes Barney Fife, the beloved
bumbling deputy on The Andy Griffith Show, and
over 20 other lovable impersonations, together
with his personal stories of growing up, families
and the funny side of church, to over 200,000
people each year.
Dr. and Mrs. Guido, along with the staff of
Guido Evangelistic Association, invite everyone
to these performances on Dec. 27 and 28. During
this time, the Guido Gardens will be brightly
lighted for the annual Nights of
Lights celebrations, so visitors are
reminded to come early for a seat to the show,
then linger and enjoy the holiday excitement in
the Gardens.
Guido Gardens is located just north of Metter on
Hwy. 121. For more information, call the studio
at 912-685-2222.
